James Castle is a globally recognized leader in sovereign artificial intelligence, cybersecurity governance, and critical infrastructure protection. James specializes in the design deployment and governance of sovereign artificial intelligence systems for governments, defense organizations, and operators of national critical infrastructure. Samir Azizi is the Summit Host and Master of Ceremony (Lead Presenter) for the AI & Defence Innovation Summit 2026. He is Chief AI Officer at Cyber Security Global Alliance and Co-Founder of Toronto DAO, where he helps bring together founders, operators, researchers, and public-sector leaders across AI and cybersecurity.

Samir focuses on responsible AI in the real world - how trust, safety, governance, and security constraints shape what actually gets deployed. He’s known for running crisp, outcomes-oriented conversations that turn big ideas into clear next steps. At the summit, he will moderate executive dialogue and keep discussions grounded in risk clarity, operational readiness, and cross-sector collaboration.
