Biography

Edmond Hennessy is a seasoned, well-recognized veteran in the COTS Embedded Market, with emphasis on the Aerospace/Aviation and Defense target segments. Mr. Hennessy has served within Industry roles for four (4) decades in various Executive and Senior roles. His early years, which he refers to, as the “training ground” were spent with major technology corporations, like Burroughs (now UNISYS) and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC – now Hewlett-Packard). The balance of his Industry career was spent with small-to-medium, sized technology companies, which he refers to, as the “proving ground” with organizations, like Mercury Systems (where he created, built and developed the Defense business), Analogic Corporation (working for a key division) and other tech companies – always with the emphasis on Leadership and Domination.

He has authored many works including the "Mission-Ready COTS" Industry Guidebook, "COTS Supportability & the Life-Cycle Proposition" and "Beyond COTS: Repackaging, Reformatting & Tech Transfers” along with other works that address the key challenges facing the industry segments that he serves. These works have been embraced by DOD Agencies/Program Offices, select Defense Contractors and other organizations applied to their on-going, initiatives and programs, which has also aided them in developing standards. Mr. Hennessy is well-published with major publication/media sources that cater to his target industries – and has recently made contributions through featured articles, interviews, webinars, etc. focused on the emerging, Drone Industry. Mr. Hennessy heads up the Performance Marketing Group (PMG), a private market programs firm, which has contributed to generating $750 Million of business for client companies (cumulatively). His book, “Market Warfare: Leadership & Domination over Competitors – basic training for business combat” has been described, as a breakthrough work that is changing the Market landscape.
